Back again for another week. Hope you enjoy the sights and sounds. We are!!! PENN STATE — Sorry had to.

It’s time again for another quick fix lesson. This week we worked with an ON1 routine with less complicated moves and included a little cumbia step. I find cumbia invites a very strong elasticity between the partners resulting in some simple moves that feel great. And we shouldn’t shy away from using it in the linear style salsa. To learn more about cumbia and some of the other variations of salsa check out our post The Styles of Salsa

In this advanced lesson we are introducing a string of moves with the copa. This will require you to have a deliberate lead i.e. make sure you know what you are doing. Take your time and when practicing on your own start with a slower salsa song, then work your way up to some faster salsa dura songs. Enjoy!
